Instructions

 

  • Choose an orange POI on the map.
  • Application allows you to log your visit when you get close(20m) to a POI
  • You will recieve points after logging a POI.
  • Collect points and try to beat other players.
  • Move up in the ladder and try to be #1

 

Login

  1. Login with Facebook: You simply log in with your Facebook account, based on your Facebook profile information the  MEYWO application automaticly fills in your basic profile information, the next logging in is automatic, unless you used “log off” from the application via “The Profile” page.
  2. Login with email: You log in with your email adress and your password you stated at the registration, based on the information stated at the registartion the  MEYWO application automaticly fills in your basic profile information, the next logging in is automatic, unless you used “log off” from the application via “The Profile” page.
  3. Continue without registration: You can see the map with individual points and get an overall view of the MEYWO application and its GUI, but… unfortunately, the tabs „Profile“, „Statistics“ and  „Notifications“ aren’t available to unregistered users. And so you won’t be able to get the full MEYWO experience!
  4. Register here: If you don’t have a Facebook account or you don’t want to use it, you need to fill in this registration information:
  • Nick: choose a marvelous user name  (22 characters max.)
  • Age: How long have you been walking the path of life  (150 years max.)
  • E-mail: The e-mail you want to use for logging into the MEYWO app (an activation email with registration confirmation will be sent here, so better check it twice)
  • Password: A clever wordplay you will use to log into the MEYWO application
  • Male/Female: Just have a look down there and choose your gender
  • Terms of Condition: As it always is, you need to accept the Terms of Conditions, confirm the filled in information by clicking the “Register” button, you should get an activation email immediately, in the email confirm that you are you, and you want to become a part of the MEYWO world.

Basic Controls

“Profile”:you can find all the info about your MEYWO account here:
your current position within the ranking list, so the #Rank, your current level and progress, basic info about your profile, logged places history including the date of logging in, loging off the aplication,
Options for editing your profile

“Notifications”: since it’s too difficult to catch so many pigeons, we sometimes send you a  message or a notification from the MEYWO world and it will be displayed here.

“Planet”: alpha and omega of the MEYWO application, where you can find places to log in and quests to complete during your journeys.
If you click on the point of interest in the map, it shows you:
Place name with a tag, number of points you get by logging in the place, distance from your position, category the place belongs to, and if you are an info monger, just click the mini-detail and it gives you complete detailed information with an option of navigation to the place.

“Statistics”: as you can tell by the name, it’s about basic statistics from the MEYWO world, ranking lists of users by time period or gender, your current ranking position and the ones above and bellow your postion.

“Menu”: you can find there things like Instrucions, FAQ, The Business Terms of MEYWO application part and Settings

Map Icons

“Magnifier”: is used for getting more detailed search/filtering of listed quests. You can adjust filtering to your needs by:

“Crosshair”: when you get lost within the map, just hit the crosshair and MEYWO centers onto your current position.
